Five hiking trails with a child in Trentino, Italy
Some travel enthusiasts decide to give up their passion temporarily when they become parents. Meanwhile, there are many trails - not only in the cities, but also in the countryside - that enable active recreation with comfort. Some of them are located in the picturesque Italian region of Trentino. Below we present five noteworthy trails.
To safely and comfortably wander with your little one, just buy a stroller or a special carrier. If your child can already walk, it is worth paying attention to the footwear in which he or she will walk the mountain trails. Being in contact with nature and admiring the landscapes, you can establish a wonderful and lasting bond with your child. Common adventures will bring the family closer together and provide common memories and experiences. Even if your child does not remember them, they will affect his or her character, development and well-being.
Below we present five trails, which are worth to overcome with a child.
Pale di San Martino: Malga Juribello
The vast meadows and pastures contrast with the 'pale' Dolomites and the Pale di San Martino massif. The path leading from the Passo Rolle to the Juribello farm is gentle and leads downhill. At the end - on the aforementioned farm, for the youngest and their caretakers are waiting domestic animals. A smile on the face of the child (and of course the parents) is guaranteed!
Val di Fassa - animal trail
Two in one. During one trip you can experience two great adventures. The first stage - the Cune gondola into the mountains, above the village of Moena, with a beautiful view of the massif of Lagorai and Dolomites. From there you should follow the gentle trail Tana dolce Tana downhill. Walking along it you will find numerous animal-related curiosities and surprises.
Val di Fiemme: Latemarium
To see the Latemar-Rosengarten massif in all its glory you just need to drive up the gondola of the same name and then go on the Latemarium trail. You can follow this path through a number of viewing points that allow you to admire breathtaking landscapes. At the same time, you can learn about fascinating legends about this part of the mountains.
Campiglio: Malga Ritorto
The trail leading through the most beautiful corners of the Brenta Dolomites is a true gem of the Trentino region. At the end you can rest and eat in the Ritorto farm. A little effort, and the prize is not only guaranteed, but also fantastic.
Alpe Cimbra: The Cymbalian Trail of Imagination
This hike in the mountains will result not only in an influx of fresh air into the organisms, but also in learning about the legends associated with the region and admiring the stately firs and beeches. You can also enjoy the view of idyllic pastures. During this journey you will be carried away by your imagination and the history of the Cymbrian Highlands will no longer be unfamiliar to you.
Hiking is a great way to spend time in a family circle. While parents recharge their batteries and reset themselves psychologically, the child experiences new sensations, which have a positive effect on their development and broaden their horizons.
