How to ensure proper hydration of the body?
Especially in summer, we should pay attention to whether our body is properly hydrated. High temperatures and the associated excessive sweating will lead to faster water loss and thus create a risk of dehydration.
In summer, we should take more liquids, i.e. even 3.4 litres a day. Sportsmen and sportswomen can increase this amount even further. It should be remembered that in taking care of hydration it is important not only how much we drink, but also what kind of liquids we take. The best is, of course, ordinary spring water or mineral water. It can be enriched with lemon juice, lime, fresh mint leaves or fruit. It also irrigates well home fruit juice, which contains the so-called structural water. It is also worth reaching for herbal teas.
Black tea, green tea, coffee and, of course, alcohol have a negative effect on hydration. These drinks should be avoided or simply limited in number. Coloured and carbonated drinks containing artificial substances are not recommended.
Food to be consumed and hydration of the body
In the summer, we usually have a greater desire for fruit and vegetables. It doesn't happen without a reason. It is in them that there is a large amount of irrigation water in the body. A very good solution is to reach for fruit and vegetables as often as possible instead of dry food products such as cookies or crisps.
Express method for rehydrating the body
Anyone who has noticed signs of dehydration in themselves should choose to take special irrigation measures that are available in pharmacies. Such drinks contain not only water, but also valuable electrolytes, which are lost through sweating.
Proper hydration of the body is important not only from the point of view of health. It also affects our well-being, increasing our ability to concentrate, improving our mind's work and tolerating fatigue. A hydrated organism also means more beautiful skin, elastic hair and nails.
