February 9, 2019Vaginal globules are a type of agent used in case of vaginal infections or vaginal dryness. But the globe is unequal to the globe. Check what you should pay attention to when reaching for the above...
Although genital mycoses are primarily a female affliction, gentlemen are not free of them at all. Most often penis mycosis, the most common problem among men, is asymptomatic, but it can also take a completely different form.
The reason for the appearance of penis mycosis is a special species of yeast, which is nothing unusual, because they appear in every person. Women also have them. Like all kinds of fungi, these yeasts like shady and humid places above all, which explains why they are a problem mainly for women, but not only for women. Most of your infections are also asymptomatic, although this is not the rule.
If the symptoms already appear, in most cases we will be talking about rather small issues such as burning and itching of the penis, especially around the foreskin. Sometimes there is a slight redness and cracking of the skin in these areas. Filled with pus or blood bubbles are less frequent. In more serious cases, there is pain during intercourse, frequent urine, and even the possibility of a whitish secretion with papules appearing on the current. Sometimes the smell of the penis is unpleasant.
The right doctor to diagnose the disease is a dermatologist or venereologist, but even family doctors should be able to deal with it. A visual examination is usually enough. It is supported by a mycological examination consisting in taking swabs from the infected site.
You can't underestimate the penile mycosis. It is also necessary to treat asymptomatic cases. This is particularly the case when the male partner has problems with mycosis and he seems to be healthy. This is often a mistaken impression. If an affiliate has problems, the affiliate may also have problems, so it works both ways. Untreated mycosis can have serious consequences, including an impact on the prostate gland and an increased risk of prostate cancer, as well as leading to infertility.
The treatment itself is very simple and consists in the lubrication of the fungal sites with appropriate ointments up to 3 times a day. During the treatment, sexual abstinence should be maintained and if topical treatment does not help, opt for oral drugs.
It is rare for a man to become ill with penile mycosis if it is not a disease that was brought by a partner suffering from vaginal mycosis. Therefore, as it usually happens in similar situations, penile mycosis is an ailment associated with adventurous sexual intercourse. As in all such cases, the best way to protect yourself from the disease is to use a condom. It must be borne in mind that this is a very effective method, but it does not provide 100% certainty.
Of course, personal hygiene is also of great importance here. Wearing clean, dry and ironed underwear and regular washing drastically reduces the risk of illness.
