Green juices - daily energy and values
Green juices look very appetizing. Juicy colour and aroma, which is not offered by other compositions in juices. Such juicy green drinks can be drunk more than fruit drinks, because they are mainly vegetable mixtures, i.e. those without calories, or in small quantities when refreshed with fruit products. However, these are not all the qualities we can count on when consuming green juices. What else is worth knowing?
A lot of raw material, taste and valuable values
A glass of juice will contain a quantity of raw material that we are not able to consume during one meal. Spinach leaves, kale or parsley, eaten alone, give you the opportunity to eat a very small amount of them. Moreover, the taste of green vegetables is often far from the compositions that conquer our palates. For this reason, juices are much better suited.
The juice can hold up to a kilo or two kilos of a product. And in one glass of juice! Eating a kilogram portion of any green vegetable becomes impossible. It's one of the biggest advantages of such green drinks. Instead of buying them, let's reach for squeezers and make juices at home. Juice squeezers will be invaluable help. This is the only opportunity for a glass of juice to contain not only green vegetables, but also vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, phytochemicals and enzymes.
Why green juices instead of green vegetables as a whole? Slightly nutty taste of kale or specific taste of spinach, many of us do not like it. Parsley, sharper chives or almost tasteless, nondescript sprouts. Placed on a plate, they do not encourage in any way. Their original flavours start to mix in the juice and finally we are very happy to reach for such a portion of health. It is mainly based on green vegetables, but also leaves a lot of space for adding sprouts, wheat grass or leaves.
Green products in juices increase their nutritional value. They give a high dose of energy, even more than the coffee consumed so far. If you drink a glass of green juice within half an hour of waking up, your metabolism will accelerate and start working more efficiently. No wonder that green compositions are very often used in slimming diets.
In a variety of vegetables that are the basis for green nutritious drinks, we find valuable ingredients, but each time different. By combining several raw materials we increase the value of such beverages.
Our diet is finally starting to include vegetables, which have been too few until now. The menu is enriched with products that we have avoided in the shop so far in a wide arc, because in their original form we did not like them. In green vegetables, cell walls are naturally thick and fibrous. Their chewing or biting doesn't seem like anything. The squeezed juice manages to obtain a nutritious beverage, while making it easy to digest.
If we find out not only about the health benefits, but mainly about the flavours of green juices, they will be a permanent feature of our daily menu. We will start creating recipes for green cocktails ourselves, thanks to which we will achieve the desired effects, and at the same time we will gain from tasty and aromatic snacks.
